Description Painting entitled "Women Visiting Shrine", depicting 2 pueblo women kneeling over a small outdoor shrine and placing an offering; One of the women is wrapped in a blue blanket and the other in a red blanket; Cholla cactus and other plants are depicted in background amid sand dunes. Pablita Velarde is the mother of Helen Hardin, whose early paintings are represented in the CAS painting collection, and the sister of Legoria Tafoya, whose pottery is represented in the CAS pottery collection.
