Description Untitled painting on poster board depicting Navajo deity, Pollen Boy; Figure is in full frontal pose, dressed in white leggings, gold and rust-brown kilt, and gold upper body; Face is white; Ribbon steamers hang from wrists and elbows and pouch is tied at waist; Background is speckled with blue, white, red, and turquoise paint; Signature "Warm Mountain 53" is printed in white paint in lower right corner; Painting is glued to rust-brown paper as holiday card; Black and green letters "M C" [Merry Christmas?] are painted on front; Typed message inside reads, "Figure from Navajo Sandpainting* Hozhonji** Blessing Chant Tra Da Deen-eshki. Pollen Boy, Warm Mountain, Joe V. Aguilar." Joe Aguilar (Jose Vincente Aguilar) is the son of Rosalie Simbola Aguilar and Joe Aguilar [José Angeles Aguilar] and the brother of Florence Aguilar Naranjo and Alfred Aguilar, all of whose works are also represented in the CAS collection.
