Description Painting on tan paper entitled "The Goatherd" depicting pueblo man at right, shown in left profile and wearing moccasins, white pants, and gray shirt, and carrying walking stick in right hand and walking behind flock of 8 goat of various colors (black, gray,brown, black and white, rust brown, tan and rust, tan and black); Signature "Awa Tsireh" is printed in black ink in lower right corner; Title "The Goatherd" is handwritten in pencil in upper left corner on reverse. Awa Tsireh was the cousin of Margaret Lou Gutierrez, whose work is represented in the CAS pottery collection.
