Description Painting on tan paper entitled "Eagle Dance" depicting two eagle dancers and two pueblo man standing at right playing single pueblo-style barrel drum; Men are dressed in moccasins, pants, and shirts; Both dancers are dressed in leggings, kilt with painted plumed serpent image, bundle of eagle feathers tied at their waists, eagle feather "wings" along their arms, and head cap with protruding "beak"; All figures are shown against plain background with no attempt at perspective; Signature "Awa Tsireh" is printed in black paint in lower right corner; Title is handwritten in pencil in upper left corner on reverse. Awa Tsireh was the cousin of Margaret Lou Gutierrez, whose work is represented in the CAS pottery collection.
