Painting entitled "Dance of the Warrior God" depicting Palöngawhoya (one of the Hopi warrior twins and grandson of Spider Woman) with elongated body and teardrop shaped head and body markings in blue, black, and white; Figure's right hand is held out in front with the palm up, while left arm extends off edge of painting; Background is filled in with geometric patterns with stars in upper right corner and small insect along left edge; Signed "M Kabotie June '63" in lower right corner. |
