Description Earth pigment painting entitled "Two Mountain Sheep Dancers", depicting 2 male dancers, each wearing black dance kilt, white shirt and leggings, and black and yellow headdress in shape of mountain sheep horns; Both figures are facing to left and are leaning on 2 sticks as they dance; Signature "Pablita Velarde" is printed in black pigment in lower left corner. Pablita Velarde is the mother of Helen Hardin, whose early paintings are represented in the CAS painting collection, and the sister of Legoria Tafoya, whose pottery is represented in the CAS pottery collection.
