Description |
Bolo tie consisting of truncated triangular turquoise stone set in plain bezel and mounted on larger truncated triangular silver plate; Shape of stone is accentuated by pair of parallel framing lines on silver plate that enclose turquoise setting; Large loop on reverse of plate is formed from second silver sheet of almost the same size whose sides are rolled under, forming a flattened tube through which the tie's braided black leather cords are strung; Silver loop is stamped with hallmark "AR" (Ambrose Roanhorse) with the initials forming the legs of a stick figure horse; Ends of braided cords are wrapped in silver cones with 3 encircling lines at one end and terminating in small spheres at distal end. |
