Description | Black leather handbag with rectangular, hollow ware silver handle and wrought silver pin on flap; Geometric overlay designs appear on 3 sides of handle and on pin; Handle is threaded through metal loop rings around handbag's opening; "Sterling Hand Made", maker's hallmark "KB", and image of Navajo hogan (hallmark of White Hogan Shop, Scottsdale, AZ) are stamped on underside of handle; Pin is unsigned; Handbags of the same design but with different silverwork designs were also produced at the White Hogan Shop by Allan Kee and other silversmiths employed there. | |
