Description | Tie tack consisting of oval piece of ironwood (cut on diagonal plane and polished smooth) inlaid in silver bezel and backed by silver back plate; Bezel duplicates diagonal plane of ironwood and is thicker at one end than at opposite end; Stainless steel post and tie tack clasp are attached on reverse; Tie tack is unsigned, but is similar to other known pieces made by benchsmiths at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, where this was likely purchased. | |
