Description | Rectangular box with hinged lid, fabricated from sheet silver; Overlay silver sheets on corners and in center of front side are cold chisel stamped with series of 5 parallel lines; Rectangular, raised, hollow area in center of lid is on stamped textured background and framed by cold chisel stamped border of feather-like pattern and outer stamped border of double zigzags; "Sterling Handmade Original Design '48" is hand etched on base along with hallmark "KB" (Kenneth Begay) and image of Navajo hogan (White Hogan Shop, Scottsdale, AZ). | |
