Single strand necklace assembled primarily of dark brown shell heishi beads; 4 red shale (?) heishi beads in center of necklace are flanked on either side by small number of white shell (?) heishi beads, all strung on 2 strands of white thread; Ends of strand are knotted together to form continuous strand; Beads were collected over period of time and probably from more than one site by private collector; Necklace CAS 0370-1611 was assembled by same collector. |
