Description | Pair of sweater clips joined together by a short, commercially made stainless steel link chain; Each clip is an asymmetrical, truncated triangular shape; Series of curved, parallel cold-chisel lines extending from one end to opposite scalloped edge produce feathered appearance; Commercially made hinged brass clip with short cleats is soldered on reverse; Clips are unsigned. Eleanor Begay (Kenneth Begay’s wife) identified this piece as her husband’s work in November 1978. | |
