Description Large pin in the shape of a dragonfly with outstretched wings; Insect's head and antennae, body, tail, and wings are all formed from pieces of turquoise, oyster shell, jet, and white shell arranged in mosaic inlay technique in plain bezels and positioned on single silver backing plate; Backing plate extends slightly beyond lower edges of both pairs of wings and is stamped with rows of crescent shapes; Inlay antennae are accentuated by silver wire and silver raindrops; Steel pin and clasp is soldered onto reverse; Pin is unsigned, but “PXYØ” is inscribed on reverse.
