Description | Round concho with domed center and scalloped edges; Series of die stamped straight lines radiate out from central circle on domed area, encircled by series of concentric circles; Innermost circle is plain; Second circle is die stamped with short parallel diagonal lines; Outermost circle has 11 small round punctate circles, alternating with groups of 3 short die stamped lines; Each scallop around edge is die stamped with 2 crescents; Brass bar for fastening concho to belt is soldered to back of concho; Concho is unsigned; This type of concho was frequently used on horse bridles. | |
