Description Hand warmer / flask made of pewter with brass ornamentation; Designed in the shape of a book with screw lid for inserting hot water; Used to warm hands during devotional services; Spine of book reads "Johannes Strubauch" and has a curved, gourd-like crowned crest fronted by an arrow; Front cover has scroll work and picture of St. Margaret holding a large feather, with a dragon at her feet and a church in the background; "S Margareta" is written below; Back cover shows John the Baptist holding a lamb with "S Joannes Baptista" written above and "Anno 1663" below.
