Description Four-tined fork with metal tines and carved round wooden handle; Proximal end of handle carved with a lion; Middle of handle is carved in geometric designs along with the date “ANNO...” (illegible) which has been severely worn down; From BRL: “Fork with carved wood handle, probably boxwood; Geometric bottom surmounted by a lion; Tin alloy ferrule; Design looks mid-eastern, but work looks German; Blade is late 19th century German or possibly French; May be Dutch blade (sic) and Indonesian handle.”
