Description A: Knife / fork with elephant ivory handle and curving steel blade ending in four prongs; B: Leather case lined in velvet, hinged with three hooks and eyes to secure; Knife end is curved into a 4-tined fork; From BRL 1982: "One armed man's knife in fitted case. Made in London, England, probably early 19th century, exceptional quality. Knife: octagon faceted high grade elephant ivory handle, iron bolster, curved steel blade, four fork prongs on end of blade; Marked: ‘H&D, 64 Charring +, London made’; Case: Plush lined red morocco.”
