| Description | Travel set of eating utensils, consisting of: A: folding knife; C: fork; B,D: two skewers; Knife has short steel blade with decorated horn handle that has a silver cap on its end with holes in which the other utensils are held; Fork and both skewers have matching horn and silver handles with etched designs and a cast lion finial, although the finial is missing on D; Skewer B is incised "V. Treffer" and skewer D is incised "1867"; Fork is incised "V. Harthausen"; From BRL 1982: “Folding knife with three associated implements; Bavaria; Folding knife (A): 18.2 cm; Engraved horn handle with second pin to stop blade when open; Steel blade with part of a touchmark; Engraved silver (?) (sic) alloy cap with rectangular holes for 3 implements in end and round retaining holes inside; Marrow fork (C): 17.4 cm; 2 tines with retaining hole; Silver (?) (sic) alloy handle, open work over horn with lion finial; Engraved ‘V. Harthausen’; Implements (skewers?)
