Description Curved steel blade with rounded point with a rat tail tang connected to a silver bolster with circle designs and scalloped proximal end that connects with a multicolored agate handle blade has hallmark with "War_"; From BRL 1982: "Table knife, Sheffield, England, early to mid 18th century; Nice octagon faceted agate handle; ‘Threaded’ silver ferrule; Blade is about 1.5 inches short - was originally same shape as CAS 0389-1986; Marks: 1) dagger (London Cutler's Co. according to Hayward); 2) anchor (or candlestick?) (sic); 3) bowl of fruit or flowers (?) (sic); 4) ‘WARD’ - WARD is a Sheffield name, e.g., John Ward was master of Sheffield Guild in 1732."
