Single strand necklace of eighteen ovoid ivory beads of slightly different sizes, alternating with sixteen spherical, translucent pink glass beads, with a central curved ivory lei niho palaoa pendant; Strung on commercial multi-ply nylon cordage (a 20th century replacement), with ends knotted together so the necklace must be slipped over the wearer’s head. |
