Description | Miniature round basket with a convex base and widely flaring sides that rise to a scalloped rim, and immovable bail handle, woven in wicker technique; Warp material is very thin woody shoots and weft material is monofilament fishing line; Warp stems are crossed on the base, then extend up the sides to the rim where they are bent to form a scallop and are eventually secured to the next adjacent warp stem; Design is woven of pink monofilament fishing line and consists of single narrow band that encircles lower side of basket. | |
