| Comments | Following the generic description, Brun describes and illustrates a new species, Hydrosilicon mitra. He also states (in French): "Two species belong to this genus. These are the species cited above (H. mitra) and the species of O'Meara (Amphiprora rimosa. Seychelle Islands M.J. 3.1) which cannot belong to the genus Amphiprora". Brun does not explicitly indicate which species is the type. |
