Hendey 1972 (ref. 003220), p. 87, regarded Muelleriella Van Heurck 1896 and Muellerella Hepp ex Müller 1862 as homonyms, and created Muelleriopsis as a substitute name for Muelleriella Van Heurck. Farr et al. (1979) and current Internet version of the ING do not treat Muellerella and Muelleriella as homonyms. The need for a substitute name however exists because Muelleriella Van Heurck was rejected vs. Muelleriella Dusen 1905. |
