According to Pantocsek (p. 120) it is a new name for Coscinodiscus strigillatus Witt in Schmidt et al. 1889, pl. 138, fig. 20. No need is seen for the new specific name. Spelled Haynaldella in Pantocsek 1892 (ref. 001034, p. 57, pl. 32, fig. 459). SVL says "emend. Rattray 1890 p. 449 (1) (ref. 001485)". |
