| Comments | Type by monotypy. Two species are given below the generic description: Truania archangelskiana n. sp. and Lepidodiscus elegans O. Witt. The type was not originally designated. Although the two species were listed below genus Truania, Pantocsek recognized only Truania archangelskiana as belonging to the genus Truania, as he deliberately did not transfer Lepidodiscus elegans to Truania, neither in the text nor in the plates. Ross in Farr et al. 1979, p. 1809 (ref. 06663) gives T. archangelskiana as the holotype. |
