Ehrenberg makes the following statement, p. 290: Belonidium Vibrio ist ein Synedra und Desmogonium verwandtes neues Genus, auch an Gomphonema Vibrio erinnernd, dessen mittleren Nabel und spindelartige Form es besitzt. (Belonidium is a new genus transitional between Synedra and Desmogonium, also resembling Gomphonema vibrio, whose middle navel and spindle-like form it has). |
