| Comments | Name cited "Henseniella Schütt 1893" by Tempère 1894, p. 79 (ref. 001540), name not found in Schütt 1893 (ref. 001510). Name later appeared in Schütt in Engler & Prantl 1896 (ref. 001512), p. 84, as a section of Guinardia, with a single species, Guinardia baltica (Hensen) Schütt. Described in De Toni as Henseniella Schütt (with no reference to a previous paper). Two species are included, Henseniella baltica (Hens.) Schütt which is also described, Henseniella Stephanos (Hens.) Schütt l.c., for which no description is provided. No type designated. |
