| Comments | Type by monotypy. Description is on p. 343 of Part II of the Text (ref. 000733), illustration of type species is on pl. 83, fig. 36 of the Atlas (ref. 001056). According to Stafleu & Cowan 1983, the text of "Diatomées Marines de France" was published in fascicules, those for Part II (p. 237-364) were published between 1899 and Apr. 1901; the date of publication of 1901 for this genus name given by Farr et al. 1979 is therefore most likely correct. According to the book itself, plate 83 was published in 1901. |
