| Comments | Not verified by us (information from Farr et al. 1979). P. Compère (pers. com., 1998) verified this publication, and confirmed that 4 species are included in the genus, S. arachne, S. flabellatum, S. heptactis, H. peltatum, all of them are described and illustrated, no type is designated. Genus also described in Brébisson 1858 (ref. 007056), p. 93, with the same species included, and no type indicated. Hanna (unpubl. ms) made a note that the paper might have first appeared in Ann. Sci. Nat. Ser. 4, Bot. vol. 9, 1851, pp. 91-96, pl. 14 (not verified by us) |
