| Type | Holotype: Fig 9, deposited as Micrograph No. 15000 in the photographic Collection of the Observatoire Océanologique de Banyuls, Banyuls-sur-Mer, France. As the material was collected on a filter and prepared for SEM examination, it was not possible to preserve a specimen for the type.
