DIAGNOSIS
Of the four species of Malagasy Nemoleon, this species has more dark markings than the others. The partial dark bands across the forewings and multiple dark spots on the hind wing are probably the most distinctive features.

Holotype female, Bekily, Madagascar, L1941, Seyrig.
GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION
This species is distributed only at the southern most part of the island and is most frequently collected at Andohahela National Park.
TEMPORAL DISTRIBUTION
This species emerges as an adult from October to early April.
