DIAGNOSIS
Of the six species of Madagascar Neuroleon this species has some of the heaviest markings, surpassed only by N. pauliani. The heavy markings in the cubital area and M-CuA area will separate this species from all species, except N. pauliani. This latter species has heavier dark markings of the forewing creating a partial band across the wing at the apex of CuP.
