Diagnosis
This species is known only from the female. Females can be separated from other Malagasy species by the following characteristics: wing veins with few dark scales; lateral margin of pronotum with dark scales; ninth tergite ventrally elongated and acutely pointed.

MADAGASCAR: Toliara Province, Berenty, 17 September 1988, P. Duelli, 1 female.
Geographical Distribution
In addition to Berenty, this species has also been collected at Ambovombe along the southern coast of Madagascar.
Temporal Distribution
September and October.
Elevation
Unknown.
Remarks
There are good illustrations of the female genitalia in Aspöck and Aspöck, 1996. The labels indicate that this species was collected at lights in secondary forest.
