Diagnosis

The forewng is highly pigmented with a distinctive pattern.  There appears to be a presectorial crossvein in the forewing, as in Berchmansus.

Still known only from the type specimen.

Remarks

There is a good habitus illustration of the type specimen in Fraser (1951).  In the text and as caption to the illustration it is indicated that the type is a male, but the locality information mentions only a female. Hölzel and Ohm (1992) indicate that they have seen the type and it is a female.
