Diagnosis
This subspecies of Glenochrysa insularis has more extensive diffuse dark markings below the pterostigma on the forewing and along the apical margin in the hindwing.

Type Locality
COMOROS ISLANDS: Grand Comoro, south of Itsoundzou (military camp), 600 m, 11°37'S, 43°37'E, 2-8 December 1997, 1 male.
Geographical Distribution
Known only from the Grand Comoro Island.
Temporal Distribution
November, December, and January.
Elevation
300 to 600 m.
