Diagnosis

Ground color yellow to green, without dark marks on gena; antennae pale yellow.  Thorax green with a pale yellow median stripe.  Wing veins entirely green, including gradates; membrane without dark markings.  Male genitalia with tignum and gonapsis somewhat variable.

Geographical Distribution

This is a very widely distributed species from the western Pacific region to the islands off the west coast of Africa.  Within Madagascar the only specific locality known is the type of C. inclinata at Békily in southern Madagascar.

Tjeder (1966) provides a good description, as well as illustrations of the wings, male, and female genitalia under the name Chrysopa (Anisochrysa) boninensis.
