Family Hyperoliidae. Nocturnal, calls from banks near water, usually under an overhang. Call a beautiful, liquid "boink", similar to a drop of water in a bucket. Voice ventriloquistic, individuals hard to locate. Eggs laid singly, attached to submerged vegetation.

Size to 35 mm.
