Type catalog: Springer & Orrell 1996:22 [ref. 22274]. •Valid as Cryptotrema seftoni Hubbs 1954 -- (Hastings in Fischer et al. 1995:1014 [ref. 22829], Thomson et al. 2000:218 [ref. 25640], Nelson et al. 2004:162 [ref. 27807], Patzner et al. 2009:462 [ref. 30396], Page et al. 2013:169 [ref. 32708]). Current status: Valid as Cryptotrema seftoni Hubbs 1954. Labrisomidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Gulf of California. Habitat: marine.
