Paratypes: CAS-SU 47689 (5, now 4), 47690 (3), 67331 [ex 47689] (1, c&s). •Valid as Tomicodon myersi Briggs 1955 -- (Szelistowski 1990:504 [ref. 20183], De La Cruz Agüero et al. 1997:157 [ref. 24545], Thomson et al. 2000:263 [ref. 25640], Nelson et al. 2004:168 [ref. 27807], Page et al. 2013:173 [ref. 32708], Love et al. 2021:202 [ref. 39279]). Current status: Valid as Tomicodon myersi Briggs 1955. Gobiesocidae: Gobiesocinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: southern tip of Baja California (Mexico) south to Colombia, including Gulf of California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
