Paratypes: CAS 41723 [ex IU 15162] (1), FMNH 58673 [ex CM 7684] (1). Type catalog: Ibarra & Stewart 1987:30 [ref. 12367]. •Valid as Curimata peruana Eigenmann 1922 -- (Ortega & Vari 1986:11 [ref. 9708]). •Valid as Pseudocurimata peruana (Eigenmann 1922) -- (Vari 1989:15 [ref. 13475], Vari in Reis et al. 2003:59 [ref. 27061], Barriga Salazar 2014:105 [ref. 35745], Jiménez-Prado et al. 2015:90 [ref. 34894]). Current status: Valid as Pseudocurimata peruana (Eigenmann 1922). Curimatidae. Distribution: Ecuador and Peru. Habitat: freshwater.
