Combined with a feminine genus, the adjective should be nuchipunctata. •Valid as Silhouettea nuchipunctata (Herre 1934) (often seen as nuchipunctatus) -- (Larson & Miller 1986:117 [ref. 5803], Miller 1988:257 [ref. 26483], Larson in Randall & Lim 2000:640 [ref. 25122], Larson & Murdy 2001:3599 [ref. 26293], Larson et al. 2008:150 [ref. 29532] as cf. nuchipunctatus, Randall 2008:297 [ref. 29721], Kovačić et al. 2020:55 [ref. 37377] as nuchipunctatus). Current status: Valid as Silhouettea nuchipunctata (Herre 1934). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Philippines. Habitat: marine.
