Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:119 [ref. 12291]. •Valid as Pseudogobiopsis jurongensis (Herre 1940) -- (Roberts 1989:168 [ref. 6439], Larson et al. 2008:143 [ref. 29532]). •Synonym of Eugnathogobius siamensis (Fowler 1934) -- (Larson 2001:71 [ref. 25522], Larson 2009:148 [ref. 30125], Kottelat 2013:406 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Eugnathogobius siamensis (Fowler 1934). Gobiidae: Gobionellinae. Habitat: freshwater.
