Lectotype established (as figured specimen) in Jordan & Starks 1895, Pl. 91 [ref. 2522] -- see Sheiko & Mecklenburg 2004:10 [ref. 27591] •Synonym of Agonopsis vulsa (Jordan & Gilbert 1880) -- (Lea & Dempster 1982:249 [ref. 14236], Kanayama 1991:63 [ref. 19261], Sheiko 1993:69 [ref. 21227], Mecklenburg et al. 2002:540 [ref. 25968], Sheiko & Mecklenburg 2004:10 [ref. 27591]). Current status: Synonym of Agonopsis vulsa (Jordan & Gilbert 1880). Agonidae: Agoninae. Habitat: marine.
