Current status: Valid as Oligocottus rimensis (Greeley 1899). Cottidae: Oligocottinae. Distribution: Northeastern Pacific: southeastern Alaska (U.S.A.) south to Pacific coast of northern Baja California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
