wigginsi, Labrisomus (Odontoclinus) Hubbs [Clark L.] 1953:122, Fig. 3 [Zoologica, Scientific Contributions of the New York Zoological Society v. 38 (pt 3, no. 9); ref. 2253] 3 miles north of Arroyo Seco, between Magdalena Bay and Cape San Lucas, Baja California, Mexico. Holotype: CAS-SU 17562. Paratypes: CAS-SU 17561 (1), 17563 (12); TNHC 2960 (2); USNM 165473 (5). Type catalog: Springer & Orrell 1996:22 [ref. 22274]. •Valid as Labrisomus wigginsi Hubbs 1953 -- (Hastings in Fischer et al. 1995:1014 [ref. 22829], Nelson et al. 2004:163 [ref. 27807], Love et al. 2005:154 [ref. 37547], Patzner et al. 2009:463 [ref. 30396], Page et al. 2013:169 [ref. 32708], Lin & Hastings 2013:12 [ref. 33286], González-Acosta et al. 2016:[3] 1627 [ref. 36125], Love et al. 2021:197 [ref. 39279]). Current status: Valid as Labrisomus wigginsi Hubbs 1953. Labrisomidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Pacific coast of central and southern Baja California (Mexico), and Gulf of California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
