ogilbyi, Cypsilurus Jordan [D. S.] & Snyder [J. O.] in Jordan & Dickerson 1908:604, Fig. 1 [Proceedings of the United States National Museum v. 34 (no. 1625); ref. 2438] West of Walpole Island, Fiji Islands. Holotype (unique): CAS-SU 20451 [not USNM 62229]. Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:52 [ref. 12291]. Original genus should have been spelled Cypselurus. •Synonym of Cheilopogon unicolor (Valenciennes 1847) -- (Fricke & Kulbicki 2006:322 [ref. 28867]). Current status: Synonym of Cheilopogon unicolor (Valenciennes 1847). Exocoetidae. Habitat: marine.
