Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:118 [ref. 12291]. Based on literature and 98 mm SL specimen (Jordan & Snyder 1902:112 [ref. 2512]). •Synonym of Triaenopogon barbatus (Günther 1861) -- (Lindberg & Krasyukova 1975:350 [ref. 7348]). •Synonym of Tridentiger barbatus (Günther 1861) based on placement of type species. Current status: Synonym of Tridentiger barbatus (Günther 1861). Gobiidae: Gobionellinae. Habitat: brackish.
