(2). •Valid as Arcos artius (Briggs 1955) -- (Menezes in Menezes et al. 2003:96 [ref. 27192]). •Valid as Acyrtus artius Briggs 1955 -- (Johnson & Greenfield 1983:37 [ref. 28991], Collette et al. 2003:101 [ref. 26784], McEachran 2003:1774 [ref. 27089], Sampaio et al. 2004:206 [ref. 27998], Smith et al. 2003:57 [ref. 27621], Nelson et al. 2004:167 [ref. 27807], Page et al. 2013:172 [ref. 32708], Conway et al. 2014:4 [ref. 33313], Smith-Vaniz & Jelks 2014:73 [ref. 33341], Tavera et al. 2021:7 [ref. 38564]).
