Paratypes: ANSP 152021 (9); CAS 49344 (15); ?UMMZ 185268 (8); USNM 230261 (11, now 10, 2 c&s), 209902 (5). •Valid as Aperioptus robertsi (Siebert 1991) -- (Page & Tangjitjaroen 2015:179 [ref. 33815]). •Valid as Acanthopsoides robertsi Siebert 1991 -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:58 [ref. 23448], Kottelat & Lim 1996:237 [ref. 23210], Doi 1997:14 [ref. 22832], Kottelat & Widjanarti 2005:157 [ref. 28284], Kottelat 2013:177 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Acanthopsoides robertsi Siebert 1991. Cobitidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Indonesia and ? Malaysia. Habitat: freshwater.
