C.] 1955:64, Fig. 90 [Stanford Ichthyological Bulletin v. 6; ref. 637] Northwestern shore of San Francisquito Bay, about 35 miles north of Loreto, Baja California, Mexico. Holotype: CAS-SU 17810. Paratypes: CAS-SU 17811 (orig. 118, now 117), CAS-SU 67328 [ex CAS-SU 17811] (1, c&s). Additional material: ANSP 90815 (6), CAS-SU (20 lots, orig. 450). Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:103 [ref. 13621]. •Valid as Tomicodon boehlkei Briggs 1955 -- (Szelistowski 1990:504 [ref. 20183], Allen & Robertson 1994:87 [ref. 22193], De La Cruz Agüero et al. 1997:154 [ref. 24545], Thomson et al. 2000:262 [ref. 25640], Nelson et al. 2004:168 [ref. 27807], Love et al. 2005:160 [ref. 37547], Page et al. 2013:173 [ref. 32708], Love et al. 2021:202 [ref. 39279]). Current status: Valid as Tomicodon boehlkei Briggs 1955. Gobiesocidae: Gobiesocinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: southern end of Baja California Sur (Mexico), and Gulf of California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
